Roots is ideally located; just a stone’s throw from the central train station and close to many of Tilburg hotspots. There’s a cozy ‘basement’ bar, a pleasant living room and a spacious terrace. De Eerdse Molen in Eerde/Veghel is a beautifully restored historic windmill dating back to 1883, now part museum and part community spot. Underneath the mill you’ll find a dorpswinkel (“in de molen”) with local products and a cozy café space. It's run by volunteers and a lovely place to rest. The mill also has a museum telling local and WWII history and is a distinctive landmark along bike routes in the area. It's a great scenic stop if you’re cycling to or from Schijndel or through the Meierijstad countryside.
